Cognis IT was founded in February 2007 by Geoffrey Kent (CEO), Robert McClelland (Chief Marketing Officer), and Matthew Toto (Chief Technology Officer). Cognis IT is headquartered in Conshohocken, PA, and in 2008 opened a first class off-site server hosting facility in Reading, PA. At the end of 2008, Cognis IT expanded to offer web application design services.

Cognis IT has nine full-time employees and is ranked 14th on the 2010 Philadelphia 100 list of the region’s fastest growing privately held companies. We also ranked in the top 50 Emerging companies in 2010 by SmartCEO magazine.
